Title: Oracle Systems Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Type: 18 Month Contract

Position Summary
CCCi's client has an immediate 18 month contract opportunity for an Oracle Systems Administrator. The Oracle Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, management, setup, configuration and support of our client's Oracle E-business suite (EBS) application environments. This role will be responsible for application stability/upgrades, system configuration, security and technical guidance for the IT team. This role will also be responsible for application patch management, critical patch updates, and application elevation processes, as well as, projects and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain efficient and highly available operation of our client's E-business Suite (EBS) environments, which includes forms, self-service, reports, work flow, discoverer, BI Publisher, concurrent manager and additional environments
- Lead, install, configure and manage user interface, application program interfaces, application users, and new application modules. Maintain up-to-date documentation of EBS environments and related supporting technologies.
- Manage, administer and control sysadmin responsibility, DFFs, functions, menus, and data groups. Provide guidance on Vertex, printers, printing software, 3rd party add-ons, and customizations.
- Present verbal and written recommendations to IT management promoting improvements to achieve business and operational excellence.
- Understand and remain current on new module functionality, business process optimization options and trends.
- Partner with the application development, support, DBA and operations teams to implement changes, patches and enhancements according to the client's standards.
- Act as a member of our client's IT's Architecture team.
- Work with Information Security personnel to manage user responsibilities, roles, and application security.
- Manage and lead information life cycle management to enforce data retention, to optimize space usage, and to maximize performance.
- Monitor and manage work flow, concurrent managers, notifications, sysadmin alerts, and overall system health.

Basic Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years' experience with EBS implementation, patching and configuration is required, including:
* A minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience with Oracle Systems Administration required.
* A minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience working with Application Development Team, DBA and application support is required.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience with Oracle database is required.
- Excellent to outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Must be able to mentor and share knowledge and best practices with other IT team members.
- Must be detail oriented and be able to deliver high quality work without supervision.
- Must be able to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and to provide guidance to other personnel.
- Must have an ability to define, work with and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
- Must have a flexible work schedule as some nights and weekends are required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - which includes the ability to perform independent research and/or working with Oracle Support personnel (working SRs.).
- A good working understanding of the UNIX/Linux operating systems (to include Shell Scripting) and common Application Server and database-related commands.
- Familiar (and experienced) with Management/Monitoring/Tuning tools and techniques (OAM, RMAN, OEM, Grid Control, TOAD etc.).
- Knowledge of principles of Project Management desirable.
