Document Control Specialist

CCCi has an opportunity with our large Energy client for a Document Control Specialist in Charlotte, NC. Position requires a high level of skill in the following areas: electronic file management and hard copy file management (receive, retrieve, quality check, prepare, upload), ability to apply company document control standards to assigned work with little guidance and the ability to communicate company document control standards to others. Document Control Specialist needs to have the ability to communicate with various levels of management; ability to produce status reports as requested, proficiency with document tracking methods, document flow logs, transmittal forms, and distribution lists. Candidate also needs to have quality control skills with various types of media; ability to work independently keeping leads appraised of progress and/or issues and the ability to complete a task from beginning to end.

2 years of experience is required by client.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills and a candidate who is proficient with Microsoft Office products.

DESIRED:
possess basic understanding of various types of engineering documents in order to perform document control activities. Candidate must have experience with engineering and architectural drawings, operational manuals, and documents; ability to perform records audits; ability to use document reproduction equipment effectively (scanning, plotting, printing, etc.) There are no drafting or design responsibilities in this role. Position requires periodic overnight travel. Successful candidate must have excellent attendance record. Work hours range from 6 am to 6 pm. Work schedule may be changed based upon staffing and workload.
