VB.NET App/Dev Support

Our large Energy client is looking for a VB.NET App/Dev Support for the PI systems and software used throughout the Power Delivery, Commercial, and Fossil/Hydro business units in Charlotte, NC. This position is part of the PI Support Team and will be responsible for providing application development and support for the existing PI systems in these business units. (75% app supp, 25% app dev). Client will also consider this contractor being located in our Cincinnati office at 4th and Main.

This support includes: Vendor software implementation and support, development and execution of test plans, scripts, and procedures, training and support of system users. Troubleshooting and resolution of operational problems and issues, software program design and development, periodic on-call support. (24 x 7) and strong oral and written communication skills. Strong team player that works well with others.

REQUIRED:
Experience in VB.NET application development.

DESIRED:
Experience in supporting OSIsoft suite of applications/PI.
