Interim BI PM - North West - Financial Services client - £month contract
Timothy James Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a leading Financial Services organisation in the North West for a BI Manager with a good understanding of managing multiple BI projects, multi disciplines, people management, and taking ownership of an existing BI solution. You will need to ensure the BI solution achieves optimum performance
Role:
To manage a team of BI Analysts and Developers responsible for further developing the existing BI solution which has become more fundamental due to a large consolidation within the business. You will be involved in ensuring the BI data model and BI reporting meets expectation and key deliverables are met.
Essential experience
- Programme and Project management experience, including management of multiple BI projects and workstreams
- People management
- Financial Services/Insurance background
- Advanced problem solving skills
- The ability to influence and negotiate
- Understanding of BI - preferably Cognos/SAS
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
The contract is for 3- 6 months initially with the possibility of an extension
