Detailed Job Description My client requires a Site Manager for a huge data centre fit out in the Edinburgh area of Scotland
The successful candidate will be responsible for
The Site Manager will control on-site operations, working with contractors and subcontractors to ensure the building fit-out project runs to schedule.
The Site Manager will control all aspects of the site, including planning work, arranging delivery of materials and managing a range of subcontractors, and is responsible for ensuring the work is completed to schedule.
The Site Manager will be involved in and around the day to day running of the building fit-out.
The Site Manager will therefore liaise with the Landlords, Senior Project Managers and Architects (main contractor) as well as third party fit out contractors. A general understanding of man-managing these parties is essential to aid support within the project.

A thorough understanding of the issues involved in large building projects
A practical, logistical mind
High numeracy skills
Ability to develop good relationships with other professionals
A good grasp of IT applications and how they can be used in a site-management context
Excellent organisational skills.
