EMEA Financial Analyst
Summary
This position is for a Financial Analyst for a global network infrastructure business and will report to the EMEA Finance Manager. This role will support the EMEA FP&A Manager as well as providing supporting to EMEA Customer services controller. The person must demonstrate the ability to work with peer groups both in EMEA and Worldwide. Major responsibilities will include FP&A activities covering reporting of results, close analysis, forecasting opex and budgeting opex.
Responsibilities
Provide support to Customer Services and the Facilities department in terms of forecasting, budgeting and reporting. The role will also involve business partnering the department heads across EMEA.
Activities include:
- Provide FP&A Support for Customer Services, Facilities, Finance & IT.
- Month end close for the supported departments with input from the business, liaising with the shared services for posting accruals and monthly reviews.
- Monthly forecasting using Hyperion
- Monthly reporting of actual versus Budget and forecast with commentary out to the business.
- Working closely with analysts in the US to ensure alignment during the monthly cycle.
- Preparation of monthly cross charges to other departments across EMEA.
- Other analysis to support the FP&A team
- Ad hoc analysis as and when required.
Experience required:
* Part-Qualified accountant with 2-3 years experience
* Able to demonstrate a successful track record in a similar role.
* Experience of Essbase and Hyperion are an advantage.
* Technology industry experience essential
* Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at different levels
* Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
* Ability to work within and support a disparate team
* Self-starter
