Vignette Web Content Manager
London (Must have Vignette experience)
3 months rolling £160 - £200 per day ASAP start
My client a leading property company requires a Vignette Web Content Manager for a 3 month rolling contract urgently. The role is to drive and support my client's online strategy through the application of best practice and development of its online content to enhance their brand.
Roles and responsibilities for Vignette Web Content Manager:
Ensure the website content is maintained and up to date, approving and adding content to relevant sites.
Manage the accuracy of the English language content on all websites.
Liaise with all major stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information on sites.
Provide training and advice to local editors including templates and manuals as required
Act as point of contact for website queries
Manage the continuous improvement of content and use of best practices
Where appropriate, provide advice and/or support to internal and external clients looking for online/digital solutions
Be on project team to deliver microsites as required
Manage third party suppliers as required
Manage ad hoc website enhancement/development projects
Write specification documents as required for online projects
Advise on social media strategy
Manage the analysis and reporting of web traffic and trends via Google Analytics
Create, edit and design appropriate visuals to enhance sites
Report all bugs and technical issues to GTS team and developers
Skills needed for Vignette Web Content Manager:
High level IT skills including use of Photoshop and Flash
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience of using an established/popular content management systems in particular the following Vignette software technologies; VCM - Vignette Content Management; VAP - Vignette Application Portal; DPM - Dynamic Portal Module.
Advanced planning and project management skills
Preferably at least 3 years experience in commercial (B2B) environment
Knowledge of property/professional services an advantage.
