Description
Multiple Solution Architects/Telecom Business Analysts (BA) with strong backgrounds in infrastructure are needed for immediate 12 - 18 month contracts with a large telecommunications company in Alpharetta, Ga.
These roles will involve working closely with other senior technical resources and project managers to service internal lines of business (LOB) within the company. Projects could range from consolidating data centers to designing and building enterprise platforms for large package applications to updating larged application and database clustered environments to newer versions to deploying and administering industrial strength network monitoring tools to anything else in the area of operational support, provisioning and business support systems.
We need people with solid and comprehensive experience in these areas for immediate assignment. The more of that experience that is related to telecom, the better.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with LOB stake holders to determine project requirements
- Building requirements that fit within company strategy and organizations
- Developing detailed system specifications that meet project expectations to include conceptual, logical and physical designs of enterprise platforms capable of supporting industrial strength application deployments.
- Developing technical strategies and project roadmaps that leverage latest technologies and best practices.
- These positions lean more towards technical than business process or functional. Ideal
candidates would be strong in Infrastructure and Packaged Software. Prior experience as
a DBA, Network Administrator, Software Engineer, etc., would all be very useful. - Significant prior experience in telecom design (OSS/BSS)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Has a professional presence and experience to project scope and requirements are clearly articulated by project sponsors.
- Able to provide due diligence on new requests originating from business departments to include project sizing and fit.
- Can advise customers on best practices relating to infrastructure and business process flow
- Able to assess and provide input on impact of system changes and customizations product deployment and rollout.
- Builds process flow models, flow charts and documentation to provide for knowledge transfer to appropriate team members.
- Great interpersonal skills that result in strong working relationships with all parties is extremely important.
- Seven years or more of professional experience, with at least 5 working as an infrastructure/solutions architect or technical business analyst in telecom.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent required.
