Position Description:
Maintain Windows systems, including all aspects of Exchange 2003 which are currently in production.
Ensure system reliability of the operating system and hardware, through proactive monitoring, security audits and recovery testing.
Develop, implement, and execute standards and policies into the environment to ensure manageability.
Document systems and maintain procedures to support daily activities.
Experience at tier 2/3 level of support for incident management, must be able to provide proactive operations in the area of Patching with WSUS, Installation of 3rd party software, and understanding of HP and/or Dell Hardware imaging and support.
Working knowledge of computers, networks and their protocols.
Good understanding and ability to troubleshoot Windows OS, Exchange, Blackberry, IIS, WSUS Patching, Anti-Virus Product Support and Troubleshooting.
Attention to detail and the ability to apply knowledge to identify and resolve day to day problems related to the systems operations.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships and communication in a team environment.
Ability to work in stressful situations
Should be able to provide excellent customer service.
Should have the ability to communicate professionally
Qualifications:
6-10 Years experience in field with this level of position. Windows Operations experitise with 2000, 2003 and 2008 server platforms, including deployment, strong incident management, and proactive services. Experience in incident management with WSUS, ESX 4.0, Exchange 2003, Enterprise Vault, AD 2003r2, GPO, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Captaris RightFax scripting. Fmiliarity with OpsMgr 2007, Directory Resource and Administration (DRA). Strong knowledge with large Exchange 2003 environments (10k or more preferred)
