Location: Boston MA 02109
Contract Length: 3 + month contract (with additional 3-4 month extension)
Pay Rate: Depends on experience
VMWare Architect needed to study our client's production VMware ESX environment for their design of an ESX deployment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience architecting/designing VMWare deployments for large scale enterprise clients
Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of deploying, configuring and administering VMWare
Must be able to take lead and work without much supervision
Perfect candidate will be high level, but also able to roll up his/her sleeves and be hands-on if needed
Experience in the financial sector a plus
VMware VCP3 or 4 certification preferred
MUST BE ABLE TO BE ONSITE IN BOSTON 100%...NO REMOTE WORK
RESPONSIBLITES:
Very strong VMware architect to perform a gap analysis of the clients virtual infrastructure against industry best practices
Provide a solid, structured, and prescriptive set of recommendations to close any discovered gaps or discrepancies.
Design best practices for design and deployment; as well as administration of the environment
