SENIOR/PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR/QS - CIVILS - LINCOLN

Salary: £41,000-£45,000 Pro Rata
Contract Duration: 3 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Lincoln

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced project based QS to support the commercial function on the Teal Park project for a three month fixed term basis. The position is working on the Teal Park project which involves an upgrade to the A46 Lincoln Bypass. You will join the team initially on a 3 month FTC.

Example of Responsibilities:
* Ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are in place and operated correctly to covering all operations on the Teal Park project.
* Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance to date and forecasts to the Teal Park management team.
* Be proactive in promoting team working and partnering.
* Ensure that team members are properly supported and developed to make their best contribution.
* Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement to interim and final account agreement.
* Ensure that accurate records are kept and retained and that full entitlement under the contract is achieved.
* Ensure accurate and timely CVR reporting including review with Operational Management.

You:
* Must have commercial experience at a senior level in highways maintenance or construction.
* Possess an appropriate qualification and have sound commercial and business knowledge.
* Must have a thorough understanding of ECC/NEC type of contracts.
* Ability to adopt a strategic view of projects
* Must be able to anticipate problems and ensure early implementation of remedial measures.
* Must possess excellent communication, report writing, presentation and IT skills.
