The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing successful solutions for applications that support the business goals and user needs. The candidate will design user experiences, review implementation and provide recommendations based on usability testing results.

Candidates should have experience with the following technologies:
Experience in building applications using the following technologies: Flash, JSP, Struts, Spring, JavaScript, Ext-JS, Java, XML/XSLT, XHTML, CSS.
Familiar with cross browser support issues and solutions.
Experience with any of the following is a significant plus: Oracle BI, Ext JS, SEAM, jBPM, iText, SOAP, SMTP, Scripting Languages.

Responsibilities:
Understand and articulate the business vision, problem definition and opportunity.
Develop and communicate UX solutions that support and enhance the business strategy and user experience.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary management teams in prioritizing functional requirements and developing design solution approach.
Craft visual representation of large systems, complex relationships, data and task flows.
Employ user-centered methodology to arrive at cohesive organization systems, elegant navigation systems, and effective labeling and search systems.
Communicate solution approach through development of user and data flows, high fidelity designs, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and specifications.
Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure product remains true to stated goals of functional design throughout development of product.
Deliver functional specifications, wireframes, and other supporting documentation for Developers and QA.
Orchestrate and incorporate feedback from usability testing.
Deliver visual design, art & design specifications as needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information or Library Science, Product Design or related field with 5+ years experience in planning and executing successful web applications.
The individual must have a solid understanding of and experience with web technologies including both Front End and Back End technologies.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills with experience presenting designs to colleagues and stakeholders.
Expert knowledge of Industry-standards and design tools including Adobe Creative Suite is also required.
