Senior Database Marketing Analyst - Banking - London - Circa £275 per day
A leading bank requires a senior database marketing analyst to exploit the bank's customer insight and data assets using SQL to target customers and prospects with appropriate, value building propositions via all available channels in a timely, professional, effective and compliant manner.
You will be responsible for the provision of data support, tools, advice and context for clients to enhance marketing effectiveness and delivering campaign selections and customer contacts.
You will be required to apply recognised and creative analysis techniques to support the marketing requirements of the bank from planning to delivery and evaluation.
You will need to identify opportunities for, test and implement segmentations for use in customer selection.
You will design and build customer selections for direct marketing/mail campaigns, outbound telemarketing, sales lead, Action Prompts and ad hoc market research initiatives.
You will also need to work closely within the Bank to deliver outputs through the most appropriate tool.
You will work with internal customers to understand their objectives, challenge their assumptions, provide advice and translate agreed requirements into a data brief.
Identify potential opportunities within existing products.
You will be responsible for running end to end pilots to test new market opportunities including the design and construction of appropriate control groups.
You will also need to ensure all marketing selections are compliant eg that marketing suppressions are applied where appropriate.
You will need to ensure effective cost management and control of team budgets. You will contribute to the development of a strong high performance culture within the Marketing function, which positions the Bank as the Employer of Choice
To be considered you will have solid, practical business experience as a senior marketing database analyst from a financial services background and you should be able to comfortably and accurately apply the data to marketing and business scenarios.
