DESCRIPTION
The Network Services/Support consultant will support an Ethernet to cell migration acceptance for a packet core team.

Responsibilities
  • Run node heath checks, ping tests, and trace routes.
  • Work with vendors and internal partners to ensure nodes are working correctly prior to acceptance.
  • Update and maintain multiple trackers.

Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of Packet Core products, systems and applications to include at least one or more of the following: IP Routing, Routing Protocols, VPN, ATM, MSN, and SIAD.
  • Experience with Mobile Data, GPRS and UMTS platforms.
  • Cisco, ALU and Tellabs experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work from 6pm to 6am.
  • Knowledge of UNIX, Data Applications support is also a plus.
