Description

Have you always wanted a 3 day weekend? Are you a Level 3 Systems Administrator/Engineer with experience in an enterprise environment with 1000+ Servers? If the answer to the questions is yes, one of Australia's largest banks is looking for you...

This is a night shift position with approximate hours of 7.30pm - 6.00am Monday to Thursday.

The team has the responsibility of closing any vulnerabilities, whether it is Microsoft, Java, Adobe, etc,

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Undertaking changes targeted at the remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Communicate the results of changes through the bank CMDB and change management process
  • Over the course of 6 months some 3000 Servers need to be remediated. Skills enabling the automation of the vulnerability mitigation would be an asset. These skills may be in the form of Scripting or a review of process management and would be a collaborative effort with the rest of the team.

You should have the following skills and experience:

  • Windows Server skills are required as some vulnerability changes require unspecified repair of server issues before the vulnerabilities can be attended to
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification will be an advantage
  • VMware and HP server hardware skills are an asset
  • There will be some exposure to Linux Servers
  • SQL reporting skills and Excel manipulation in collating information from various sources about security vulnerabilities discovered will still happen, but to a  significantly lesser extent.

If your skills and experience match the above criteria, please apply via the link and contact James Perry.
