This is a night shift position with approximate hours of 7.30pm - 6.00am Monday to Thursday.
The team has the responsibility of closing any vulnerabilities, whether it is Microsoft, Java, Adobe, etc,
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Undertaking changes targeted at the remediation of vulnerabilities
- Communicate the results of changes through the bank CMDB and change management process
- Over the course of 6 months some 3000 Servers need to be remediated. Skills enabling the automation of the vulnerability mitigation would be an asset. These skills may be in the form of Scripting or a review of process management and would be a collaborative effort with the rest of the team.
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Windows Server skills are required as some vulnerability changes require unspecified repair of server issues before the vulnerabilities can be attended to
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certification will be an advantage
- VMware and HP server hardware skills are an asset
- There will be some exposure to Linux Servers
- SQL reporting skills and Excel manipulation in collating information from various sources about security vulnerabilities discovered will still happen, but to a significantly lesser extent.
