Description
Our global chemical client with headquarters in Wickliffe, Ohio is seeking an Instrument Tech to work in their metrology lab. This is a long-term contract (1-2 years) and could lead into a regular position with our client for the right person.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in metrology lab
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, modify and install / construction instrumentation equipment and controls
- Provide technical input to customers regarding design, installation, repair and afe operation of equipment and systems
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Electronic Technology
- Read and interpret interconnection diagrams, process and instrumentation flow sheets, loop sheets and schematics
- Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electronic equipment and controls, pneumatic equipment and controls, advanced analytical and laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of computers, software, computerized control systems and interfacing instrument control systems
- Ability to use instrumentation test equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to keep up to date with new technology
- Exceptional customer service skills
Considered a Plus:
- Instrumentation and controls design experience
- Experience in the chemical industry
- Instrumentation metrology and calibration experience
- MS Office: Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
