Compliance Consultant
The Consultant will provide compliance advice, expertise and support in relation to Mortgage and Banking activities. They will be engaged with the provision of expert technical advice to all Group wide business areas to help ensure that all process, policies and products meet regulatory requirements involving day to day stakeholder contact. The Consultant will need to assist business areas in applying compliant but commercial solutions to business requirements.
WHat key Skills will the right candidate have:
- Able to demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills enabling contribution at a tactical level.
- Understand the application of Principle Based Regulation and ensure that Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is built into all aspects of policy, responsible lending and arrears handling.
- Provision of expert, accurate and timely advice and support to allocated projects.
- CeMAP/CeFA qualifications and BCOBS/MCOB knowledge/experience
The Consultant will combine specialist knowledge with commercial acumen to successfully translate business requirements into workable compliant policies and processes. A solid and diverse experience in the compliance and associated regulatory environment is essential.
