QC Inspector - Aberdeen - 6 months + - Market Rates - Oil and Gas
Hi there,
I am currently looking for a QC inspector in the Aberdeen area.
Responsibilities:
- To inspect build components to ensure they are completed as per the build instructions and the Inspection and test plan.
- To be familiar with dimensional measurements and measuring tools.
- To carry out PMI operations as required.
- To carry out boroscope tasks as required.
- To monitor and audit build documents.
The support the QC training and development plan To work as part of a small team within a busy QC department In areas where applicants lack product knowledge or tools skills training will be provided.
Contractor Ideal/Special Experience:
- Knowledge of QC operations peferably in the oil and gas sector.
- An ability to use measuring tools and be able to read technical drawings There will be an initial acclimatisation period of 6-8 weeks, where you will be required to work 37.5 hours over 5 days.
- Following this, you will be required to work day and night shifts; typically in a pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off etc, although this may vary depending on role, so you will need to be flexible in terms of the working pattern.
