Description
The Role:
- Work with vendors on technical issues
- Create and review high level design documents
- Develop and maintain test plans and specifications and implement procedures and tools
- Testing and implementation of network configuration changes in accordance with detailed designs
- Implementation of software and hardware upgrades in project timeframes
- Review, coordinate and manage installation, commissioning and implementation activities procured from vendors or third parties
- Provide technical support to Operations in performance, capacity and configuration to maintain and optimize RAN performance
- Undertake solution evaluation and testing
- Strong understanding of 2G/3G telecommunications networks
- Strong technical competency in Nokia & Ericsson RAN network elements
Previous experience and a working knowledge in the following areas is mandatory:
- Ericsson RNC,NSN RNC, SAXC, AXC, Node B,
- Preferable exposure to NSN MGW, MSS, SGSN
