Position:
The Assistant Director (IT Systems Analyst) provides Client Server programming support for the division of University Relations while assisting the Director of Business Applications with office management tasks including supervision of data requests. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing new, and maintaining current, data reporting systems. The AD develops and provides data reports on ad hoc and periodic basis and creates reusable parameter-driven reports.

Qualifications:

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related fields, required.

Experience:  
A minimum of five years of relevant professional T-SQL/SQL and SSRS, SSAS and SSIS experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience working on similar type projects and technology will be considered for years of experience. Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases experience are preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical knowledge should include strong T-SQL/SQL, SSRS, and SSIS skills as well as experience with an Application Server; Microsoft .NET and/or PHP preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to perform multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills
required when relating to various levels of users and vendors. Organizational skills and attention to detail necessary.

Application/Web Servers: Apache, Windows IIS
Operating Systems: UNIX (Solaris/Linux), Microsoft Windows (7/XP & Server)
Database: MS SQL Server Physical Demands/Work
Environment: Traditional office environment with majority of time spent using a desktop computer.

Compensation:
Salary range is $67,000s - $84,000. Competitive and commensurate with experience. The University also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 22 Days Annual Leave; 15 Days Sick Leave; 3 Days Personal Leave; 15 Paid Holidays; Tuition Remission; Health, Dental, Vision and Prescription coverage.
