Description
Indefinite project (1+ years) for a great organization located in the heart of Downtown near Underground Marta. Our client is seeking a Senior OBIEE Developer to design, develop, test, maintain and support an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) based enterprise Business Intelligence solution.
Specific duties include:
- Estimate projects, provide knowledge transfer to other developers and work closely with business analysts to help translate user requirements into BI solutions.
- Design and develop OBIEE user interface objects (reports, dashboards, etc.)
- Design and develop OBIEE metadata/logical data models
- Determine requirements for aggregate tables
- Actively participate in design and analysis sessions to ensure sound team decision-making
- Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution.
- Complete technical documentation to ensure system is fully documented
- Mentor and train IT staff by sharing best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts
- 5+ years experience developing Business Intelligence solutions using Oracle's OBIEE product
- Demonstrated skills with business process modelling and requirements definitions
- 2+ years OBIEE implementations including all phases (requirements, design, construction, implementation) of the system development life cycle
- Strong technical knowledge of OBIEE admin/metadata tools, security, user interface design, development and deployment of dashboards, analytics and performance management reports
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or seven to 10 years of IT related experience.
- Strong report development capabilities and experience with OBIEE design and implementation.
- Knowledge and experience with ETL/Data integration using Informatica and experience with relational, multidimensional and OLAP techniques and technology a plus
