We are seeking a mid-level functional C&A Analyst for our client in Reston, VA.
This is a position on a Govt. Documentation Assistance Team which functions in an oversight and advisory role to the client with regard to field sites and their compliance with all applicable security policies, procedures and guidelines. This position requires strong research skills in the review of the applicable field site security documentation and strong written/verbal skills in the required interface with the client and assigned points of contact at those assigned field sites. Additionally, this position requires written expertise/experience in drafting recommended revisions to current security documentation as assigned, and drafting/development of new security related documentation. Specific skills and requirements include but are not limited to:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Direct experience developing C&A documentation including system security plans, contingency plans, configuration management plans, privacy impact assessments, incident response plans, and other C&A-required documents
Ability to interview system owners, network/system/application administrators, end users, and other key personnel with minimal assistance and then document the information gathered in laymans terms
Ability to explain concepts and requirements of NIST publications related to C&A put in laymans terms
Able to work on a team contributing to sections of documents or developing entire documents independently upon receiving direction
CISSP certification preferred
