DESCRIPTION
The CDN Engineer will create and execute detailed test procedures, given high-level guidance on test plans, scenarios, and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, recommend, install, and configure client-side test equipment eg streaming client/load simulators
  • Author scripts and utilities to meet testing objectives
  • Publish test results and comparative reports

Qualifications
  • Experience streaming video load testing
  • Knowledge of QA
  • for video web sites
  • Experience from a large web site which hosts significant amounts of video traffic may be acceptable
  • Senior adaptive rate contend delivery QA Engineer experience
  • Content Delivery Network equipment skills (Cisco CDS, Velocix, Juniper MediaFlow, JetStream, Edgeware, Verivue, etc.)
  • Experience setting up and operating web/video load testing and QA equipment and executing tests
  • Experience testing and validating the integration of web sites with Content Delivery Networks (Akamai, Limelight, Level3, StreamZilla, etc.)
