Senior Business Project Manager - London - Up to £500 pd
Exciting opportunity for a proven and senior business project manager to join this challenging change programme for Internet banking within a leading UK Bank.
Your key deliverables and accountabilities will be:
* As part of a change team to assess, prioritise and initiate small business change (including legal/regulatory/mandatory change) .
* As the most senior position in a sub group of 3, that assesses and triages all new non-roadmap changes, feeding any new Digital Engagement into the appropriate governance forum for approvals to progress the changes to teams that will complete initiation steps and project manage them and deliver them.
* Responsible for working closely with the Workstream Lead for small change and will be accountable for defining a robust demand/pipeline of change and submit these to Delivery teams.
* Responsible for reporting on change requests received, their status, creating a pipeline of work for the appropriate delivery teams.
* Help to establish the priority of each change, how benefits will be realized, and how the change fits strategically with Digital channel strategic plans. This will be accomplished via completing pre-assessment for all new BAU change to ascertain the viability/benefits/ROI/Operational impacts of each proposition before recommending progression and priority of delivery.
* Provide clarity in terms of plans and progress, through accurate and timely tracking/reporting, aggregating information to support effective decision making at all levels.
* Provide active and effective stakeholder management for both Digital and non Digital initiated change, working closely with the relevant Digital team and external Business change teams to achieve this.
Core skills and experience required:
* Can understand customer and internal needs for Digital Banking solutions.
* Experience with both secured and unsecured websites and change delivery to websites
* Ability to develop robust business propositions through assessment of engagement requests.
* Can engage and challenge Digital & non-Digital stakeholders at all levels to ensure ROI and funding hurdles re met. Can manage senior stakeholders across Digital & other business areas,
* Outstanding communications and presentation and interpersonal/stakeholder management skills required.
* Understanding of and experience in delivering business change, with Digital change experience highly desirable.
