We are a recruitment company and we are currently looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant - working on a contract basis initially for 5-6 months.
To help people of all ages who have physical, mental health or social problems adapt to any aspect of their life with more independence, confidence and control.
The Rehabilitation Assistant/ Occupational Therapy Assistant will assess the patient's ability to perform activities and under supervision carry out treatment programmes to increase their capability to tackle difficulties.
Candidate Profile: NVQ 3 or relevant graduate degree in the healthcare sciences,
A number of years experience of working with older people and people with mental health or physical disabilities.
The ability to build strong working partnerships; Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills;
Explain and encourage and build confidence; To create a rapport with a range of people, especially people with disabilities. Health and Safety Awareness of health & safety issues. Must be of smart appearance.
