Our client in Gwinnett County, a software developer, is seeking a senior QA/Tester to complete manual testing for a new product line. They are seeking someone that can hit the ground running and manage themselves in this fast paced environment.As a Senior Software Test Engineer you will be responsible for providing Quality Assurance testing software development. You will perform testing of Software products of a highly complex nature with little supervision. The ideal candidate would be a Senior Test Engineer with experience testing applications and User Interfaces. You will work with the Product Management, Program Management, and Development teams through the software development life cycle to deliver new versions of your product. Your responsibilities include test planning, test design, test data creation, and test execution using industry standard techniques.
Essential Functions:
Test Software Products.
Document defects found by manual testing using our Defect Tracking tool.
Maintain clear and effective communications with Development Engineering, Program Management, Technical Support, and Product Management.
Track Test Case execution using Quality Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years experience testing software through the complete development life cycle.
Experience with QA and manual testing techniques and processes, including Black Box/White Box, bug reporting and tracking, test case writing, and test execution.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically the Agile Methodology (Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, etc.)
Experience testing web-based, enterprise applications and GUI.
Experience using Quality Center
