Avery Partner’s is seeking an Information Architect (IA) for a contract position in Atlanta, GA. This person will be responsible for developing IA documentation for both web sites and applications. This person will support the Sr. IA in the execution of all deliverables and must have a firm understanding of user-centered design process, as this will be crucial to their success.Required Skills:
• 3+ years as an Information Architect, Interaction Designer, or similar roles.
• Degree in a related field: Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or Technical Communications
• Proficient in Visio, Adobe Illustrator, and MS office Suite
• Experience with user-centered design methodologies
• Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
Responsibilities
• Support large team to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences
• Develop and document detailed user experience spec’s for highly interactive interfaces
• Participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing
• Collaboratively develop prototypes for demonstration of concepts to clients
• Conduct competitive audits and market research
