Description
Our client is an international passenger transport organisation. We currently require additional resource within the Rail Franchise Bidding programme, specifically to lead the Commercial & Revenue workstream.
This will be a very "hands-on" role, including data collection, analysis, liaison with internal & external contacts, supervision of transient workstream teams, authoring etc. The postholder will be instrumental in submitting an attractive bid within the relevant timescale. At times, the hours will be long and the postholder must enjoy working under pressure, as part of a committed bid team. This role is for a period of at least six months, starting as early as mid October 2011.
In order to be considered, you must have considerable experience and knowledge of the commercial elements of running a railway. This includes passenger transport growth, retail, marketing and the complex models used to calculate revenue. You must be committed to producing an effective bid and flexible to work the hours required to achieve this.
Experience of working on Rail Franchise Bids is desirable, but not essential.
