Location: Mountain View, CA
Position: QA Test Analyst
Contract: 3 months plus possible extensions

Description

Responsibilities:
-Scope, develop, execute test-plans & test-cases for complex, highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems & interfaces that are developed in Agile methodology using J2EE and open source technologies like Struts/JAVA/JSP/JSF/Spring/Ajax/JQuery/TagLibs and JDBC and Oracle.
-Analyze requirements & develop tests for developers to use in test-driven development
-Implement test automation using in-house framework using strong knowledge on Selenium, JUnit, XML & testing.
-Execute complete QA cycle (including functional, system, integration, negative, boundary, automation, etc but not limited to) on web applications, web services APIs, batch processes and reporting applications.
-If needed, lead a team of QA Engineers along with being an very active and hands-on member of the team.

Requirements:
-5+ years of strong technical competency and experience with web applications, web services, Java, J2EE, XML, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Javascript, unit-testing and RDBMS is a must.
-Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents.
-Experience using data driven tests to validate API calls in large J2EE n-tier architectures.
-Must have experience with Perl, Shell Scripting and test automation tools like Selenium
-Must have solid experience in JUnit along with experience on testNG a plus
-Must have experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems in Linux/Unix based application Servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere environments.
-Proficiency in a technical capacity and quality methodology/process/techniques in order to provide guidance and leadership to junior team members is required.
-Experience with SOA and testing component-based architecture is strongly preferred.
-Knowledge and experience on Continuous Integration is a plus.
-Knowledge and experience testing in an AGILE development methodology is a
must.
-Strong communications and ability to work well across teams.
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
