Network Services/Support

DESCRIPTION
The Network Services/Support consultant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of numerous network elements. Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex system hardware/software problems. Assist technicians and vendors with restoration activities when service impairments occur.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering work orders.
• Utilize Ericsson UMTS (WCDMA) OSS applications such as AMOS, CEX, Element Manager and NSA,
• Fulfill requests to perform JVM Restarts for reasons such as hanging UL CEs and hung alarms.
• Run both pre and post Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for nightly planned maintenance work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform hardware installations, routine maintenance on switching complex, interpret reports.

Qualifications

• Need to be very knowledgeable on Ericsson UMTS & GSM equipment
• Radio Access Network experience
• General Computer skills
• Element Management experience
• Familiarity with network elements RNC, BSC, BTS & UMTS
• Hardware troubleshooting skills
• Software troubleshooting
