Description
We are currently looking for a high calibre Commodities Business/Analyst for a transformation programme for one of the world's largest banks.
The business related SME roles are open now and they're looking on the contract market already for someone to start ASAP ... the IT-focused ones are likely to come live in the next month and will also be competitive against the contract market. But when they come live they'll be looking for a quick start. Both roles are going to be 6-12 month contracts, so it has some longevity if we get the right people in.
The problem they've found with the contract market to date is that they either get SMEs with excellent commodities knowledge but no project experience (managing projects, running workshops, mapping in Visio etc.) or good project people with little SME knowledge. Ideally they need a blend of the two ...

Job Description
- Provide process, operating model, or systems design and support for designated applications and business functions for development activities.
Example Activities
- support a particular functional or system aspect of a project through implementation
- facilitate requirements gathering
- create conceptual and configuration designs that support the business requirements
- identify system issues/risks, articulate to management, help resolve
- conduct peer reviews
- produce process architecture that define all processes and their relationships with the business architecture and/or the details of specific processes within the process architecture
- leverage application knowledge with custom development skills to design reports, interfaces, conversions, software extensions and forms
- work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
- participate in the release control process to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
- provide management consulting support in the production of key deliverables at the program level
- conduct senior leadership interviews and documentation of results
