New Contract Opportunity
Music Retail Manager
I am looking for an experienced Music Retail Manager to manage online and mobile music portals. The successful candidate will be working with major music labels to ensure the best music offerings to the organisations key clients. This amazing position will be based in Central London for an initial 6 month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
* Responsible for management of key client music portals
* Liaise with key label partners for new releases and release schedules
* Work with clients to plan the management of their online and mobile portals
* Identify upcoming releases for inclusion and promotion
* Plan and manage monthly promotional schedule
* Develop promotions and select content to be included in selected categories
* Secure prizes and added value from label/studio partners to support promotions
* Implement promotions and category changes on content management system
* Ensure new releases are updated to site in timely manner
* Report and analyse sales statistics on a weekly and monthly basis and adapt offering accordingly
* Manage and coordinate production of campaign peripherals (banner development etc)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
* Increase music services related margins on a monthly basis
* Increase in traffic and footfall on key client sites on monthly basis
* Secure 3 promotional campaigns per month
* Hitting agreed sales target on quarterly basis
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 3 years working in digital music
* Understanding of Content Management Systems and mobile markets
* Understanding of promotion and campaign metrics
* Passion for music and interest in all aspects of digital music
* Sales/Account Management background
