Our client has recently secured a very large customer win for its Fund Services division. Our client will be taking on the Fund Administration and some strategic Middle Office functions (including OTC Pricing & Collateral Mgmt) for a large hedge fund. The customer requires a service that will cope with a high volume of trades as well as some complex OTC instrument types. Our client uses the Calypso platform within its Middle Office and this customer win is acting as the catalyst to further drive forward automated processes for OTC Derivative processing and pricing.
The successful individual is required to manage the complex migration plan from both a Business and Technical change perspective that is critical to the successful on-boarding of the new customer. This will require an individual with gravitas and the ability to pull together various work streams in order to deliver the required changes. Strong Business knowledge is essential. Although the role is supported by an internal PMO and Test Management function you will be required to co-ordinate the approach to migration and ensure project plans and subsequent delivery meets/exceeds expectations. Span of the role covers related deliveries from functions including Trade processing, derivative processing & pricing, collateral management and reconciliations.
Required Experience:
Senior management roles in client onboarding/outsourcing for large/complex Fund Managers or Hedge Funds. Detailed understanding of Middle Office operations, and extensive experience of managing large programmes of change within such organisations. A detailed understanding of OTC Derivatives and Calypso would be an advantage.
