Description
Our client in San Francisco, CA is currently seeking a Unix Administrator for a 3 month contract opening.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Solaris and at least 5 years' experience in working in these environments
- Excellent communications skills needed to manage across the organization
- Knowledge on network devices (Load Balancers Switches Routers) and functions
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule
- Experience working in and building out data centers
- Experience with virtualization technologies in a production environment
- Strong experience with Tomcat Apache
Strong experience with Scripting using Python and or PERL. and Shell
- Strong understanding of MySQL database and it functions
- Strong ability to prioritize workload and shift attention among changing priorities
- Strong support and service skills with internal organizations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function under pressure in a highly dynamic and high growth environment
- Previous work experience in Support and IT procedure
