Implementation Consultant - Global Aviation & Defence Organisation
An opportunity has arisen for a highly flexible and energetic Implementation Consultant to perform implementation and training duties on the various projects currently being delivered to within our client. Projects span all sectors of I.T. from technical/infrastructure projects through to the implementation of new business software applications. Duties will include training, documentation, on-site support and assisting the business to define and implement new procedures. The job holder must not be constrained by a rigid job specification and be willing to pick up additional duties as necessary. They must be enthusiastic and “hands on” in their approach and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Undertake implementation duties on a wide variety of business applications. Build a detailed understanding of I.T. systems and applications.Develop training plans and materials for end-users. Provide training, implementation support, configuration services on site “hand-holding” services during the implementation of new systems and applications. Produce and deliver communication plans to inform colleagues at all levels within the business regarding new system implementations. Liaise with customer and supplier representatives. Identify implementation issues, and resolve or escalate where appropriate. Identify requirements for additional systems, applications, modules of application developments in conjunction with the users, and identify opportunities for improving business processes. Undertake testing and documentation of new application releases and assist users with User Acceptance Testing activities. Assist the business in defining and document new business processes associated with the implementation of new systems and applications.
