Workflow Salesforce Technical Lead

This position is responsible for managing technical resources and being actively engaged in the designing, coding/creating, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting our most technical and complex solutions that satisfy the client requirements and meets the enterprise performance and architecture standards.

Leads and performs system integration support and ensures quality for all project work. Oversees problem resolution and production support.

This position is responsible for leading and performing development activities, such as Analysis, Design, Coding/Creating, Testing, Implementing and Supporting our most technical and complex solutions. A solution can have a variety of complexity, the Developer assignment will vary based on their expertise with the solution

This position is relied on for technical and application expertise. Expected to provide leadership and mentoring to other developers. Can work as a developer, leader or both, however, is expected to provide strong technical leadership in the solution life cycle.

This position works closely with client, project management, senior leadership, development and support teams in order to discuss projects and provide recommendations on improvement opportunities and operating performance. Participates with the Project Manager, Business Analyst and/or client in analysis and design in response to a business requirement.

This position sometimes works with vendors to design and implement solutions. Provides technical direction, mentoring and leadership to our Global Resourcing Partners. Leads/performs knowledge transfer to support teams, often Global Resource Partners, to ensure they are prepared to support implemented solutions.

Skills and abilities REQUIRED:

Salesforce.com development, admin

Apex programming language (salesforce specific)
Demonstrated ability to lead 1-
10 technical teammates.

Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in designing, coding and debugging highly complex solutions

Object oriented development with of .NET experience and working knowledge on Java and web technologies (html, xml, css, javascript, flex/flash).

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to teammates, management and/or vendors.

Should have a working knowledge of exposing and consuming web services and implementing web service clients, WSDL concepts and SOAP protocols

Demonstrated understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle.

Demonstrated analysis ability.

Demonstrated proficiency generating technical analysis/design documentation as well as associated flow diagrams and use cases necessary to create the solutions.

Demonstrated proficiency in developing documentation on basic standards.

Must be familiar with Waterfall and Agile/Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodologies.

Specialties such as Pega, Cognos, Configuration Management desired but not required

Understanding of various networking components (DNS, Domain Name System, DHCP, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Routers, Load Balancers, Firewalls)

Understanding of web Servers (IIS, Internet Information Server, Apache)

Ability to work with source-code control systems (SVN, Subversion, Harvest, VSS, Visual SourceSafe)
Bachelors degree and 10+ years progressive work related experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience with web based languages such as .NET, JAVA or J2EE.
