Candidate will be required to analyze requirements, translate them into test cases, prepare detailed test plans and perform tool administration. Candidate will be initially performing load testing using LoadRunner. In addition, the individual will execute test scripts using automated testing tools based on user specifications and perform defect tracking and management activities. Candidate will interact with business, application development, and technical support personnel to obtain the needed information to support testing efforts including installation, setup, and configuration HP/Mercury's Testing tool suite.
Required Skills:
HP LoadRunner certification. End-to-end product delivery cycle for high-availability systems
1) Minimum of 10-12 years experience in the Information Technology field.
2) Minumum of 8-10 years experience in Performance Testing activities.
3) Experience in developing LoadRunner Scripts using HTTP, VB Template, and COM/DCOM protocol is a must.
4) Expertise in using Mercury LoadRunner applications such as Vugen, Load Generator, Analysis and Controller.
5) Strong VB and C language skills are required.
6) Proficiency in script customization and script enhancements (Correlations/Parameterization) using LoadRunner is required.
7) Experience in working with databases (Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL).
8) Proficient knowledge of IBM HTTP Server, WebSphere Application Server, and Edge Servers.
9) Advanced knowledge in software testing techiques, methodologies, and defect management.
10) Advanced analytical and communications skills.
11) Advanced Quality Assurance experience in Client Server and n-tier web environments that has multiple platforms (AIX, Linus, zOS, or Microsoft Windows .)
12) Must have been directly responsible for building test plans, test cases and testing scripts.
13) Advanced experience in testing J2EE and .NET Web-based applications.
14) Advance capability to identify, communicate, and track issues to closure.
15) Advanced knowledge with HP/Mercury Interactive's testing suite and integration. Including Application Life Cycle Management (ALM 11), Quality Center 10, Quick Test Professional 11/10, and LoadRunner 11, Site Scope 11 installation, setup, and configuration.
16) Advance experience in creating scripts to automate the testing process.
17) Advanced expertise in end-to-end planning to execution experience on multiple enterprise level system load testing assignments required.
18) Advanced expertise with end-to-end system monitoring and performance tuning required
