Based in Berkshire our client is currently seeking a Contract Principle Engineer on an initial 3 month basis with experience designing radio path digital processing for implementing on an FPGA. This includes elements such as CPRI, OBSAI, DUC, DDC, CFR, DPD. Detailed knowledge of high end Altera devices like Stratix IV, or high end Xilinx devices like Virtex V and how they are used in an RRH is also desirable. This role does allow for a percentage of offsite/working from home, so please respond now if you are soon to be or are currently available.

Key Requirements:
1st or 2.1 Electronics, Physics or Computer Science from a Tier 1 group University
Extensive knowledge of communications systems gained in industry
5+ years experience in industry simulating, designing and implementing DSP algorithms for wireless communications systems
Knowledge of LTE, CDMA2000, GSM
Strong VHDL/Verilog
Some MATLAB
Appreciation of targeting signal processing at FPGA or ASIC technology
