Located in the heart of Sydney, this successful company is looking to expand their Business Intelligence team by hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Cognos Developer. They are looking for an IT veteran with exceptional Cognos skills who is excited about working within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate would be looking forward to a challenge and making lasting relationships within the BI team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and BI team to develop realistic solutions to business based problems
- Ability to multi task by working on multiple large scale projects simultaneously
- Build report packs by choosing the appropriate information and the reporting tools
- Mentor regional resources on best practices develop new standards
- Support the regional IT teams and users in solution designs for various business units.
Key Requirements:
- Approximately 4+ years of Cognos 7 Suite
- Experienced Cognos 8 BI: transformer, query studio, report studio, analysis studio
- Familiarity with Cognos 10 is a plus
- Strong SQL script writing and running skills
- Oracle and UNIX highly regarded
- Report Writing skills
