Our client in Jacksonville, FL is currently seeking a Sr Analyst, Information Security for a 3 month contract opening.

Individual will be part of a team responsible for day to day processing and support for Mainframe, mid-tier, database and Web Based applications as well as represent Information Security on teams for complex application and infrastructure-related projects. Individual must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives using automation and workflow.

Individual must be able to proactively assess potential items of risk/opportunities and provide solutions as well as assist with execution. Individual will conduct periodic security assessments related to Access Entitlement reviews and support Internal and External Audit activities.

Individual will assist with the development, modification and publishing of Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements and help develop and promote security awareness programs.

Individual will provide second level customer service support for internal and external customers, contractors and vendors for escalated security-related issues and be expected to resolve them in a timely fashion.

Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to structure and present detailed information in an effective and professional manner. Strong organizational skills, analytical ability and attention to detail required. Individual must be able to perform under moderate supervision and be a Team player.

24X7 on-call support for security-related issues is required.

Associate's degree in Computers, Technology and/or related field.

Individual must have a strong understanding of Information Security Principles/Practices related to advanced security protocols and architecture. Working experience with security software and architectures, intrusion detection systems, Firewalls, Intranet, Extranet and Mainframe platforms required. Experience with PCI and ISO27001 standards is a plus but not required.

5+ years of experience in information technology or security. Experience with mobile devices a plus.

Technical Knowledge:
Hyena, RACF, Active Directory, ADAM, F5 ASM, Lawson, PeopleSoft is required.
UNIX, AIX, Linux, Cisco Network IDS, Cisco Host-based IDS, eTrust Access Control, ESM, and IDS. DES encryption, Digital Certificates, SSL, VPN, IPSec, TCP/IP, DNS and web security architecture is required.
SpamAssassin, Nmap, Nikto, Nessus, and Paros are a plus.
