Senior User Interface (GIS) Java Developer
Redmond, WA
Participating in the development maintenance of UI product releases for our client's Software Solutions.
Implementing the accepted design within the scheduled time and budget. Performing basic and intermediate complexity bug fix designs.
Interfacing with Operations/Delivery, Marketing and Support.
Contributing to the User Group(s) and customers by working with the User Group Special Interest Group, reviewing Software Improvement Requests from customers, and preparing and presenting demos related to new UI features.
You may also be required to occasionally work extended hours, carry a pager/cell phone, be on call and may require occasional travel.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
General Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Requires minimum seven (7) programming experience with Java
Advanced knowledge and expert developer in Geoserver, Geographical Information System or similar geospatial, Google Map or Bing Map technology.
Knowledge with Open layers, Google Web toolkit
Analyze function requirements, develop geospatial User interface.
Ability to work on new and existing features.
Practical experience with optimize UI capabilities and performance.
Knowledge in tune application settings including Back End server for high performance and high availability.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures. Ability to make formal and informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff.
