Solvency II Assurance & Regulatory Lead

An excellent opportunity has arisen working for a large financial services firm in London. The vacancy is for a Solvency II Assurance and Regulatory Lead.
The purpose of this role is to work within the Solvency II work-stream and be responsible for the co-ordination and control of the programmes group wide independent assurance programme and the group's regulators, relating to Solvency II matters. Also this role will manage the relationship between Internal and External Auditors.
This role will:
- manage the relationship with Internal and External auditors
- control the costs and scope agreed in the original planning
- monitor and manage report findings
For this role, Candidates should have:
- a solid understanding of managing both External and Internal auditors
- excellent management skills
- an in-depth understanding of FSA Solvency II processes and tools.
Candidates should be either a Qualified Accountant or a fully Qualified Actuary.
