ROLE: Regulatory Performance Manager
SKILLS: Insurance and Investment, FSA Compliance and Training, FPC Qualification, up to £500.00 per day
Short Description:
The purpose of the role is to enhance the performance of team members within the regulated sales functions of our clients' Investments and Protection.
Complete Description:
To ensure that the teams operate within the guidelines mandated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), Training and Competence regulations, sales standards and compliance standards, thereby avoiding any customer/company risk.
To provide comprehensive regulated product knowledge/skills to the team and to have a thorough understanding of the regulated environment to be able to bring to life the culture required to work comfortably within a controls framework.
The role holder will possess the ability to embed and deliver the training and development of the Front line staff so that they will to be able to engage in an intelligent and knowledgeable conversation with customers that are interested in the clients Investment, Savings and insurance offering.
The key indicator of success in this role will be customer satisfaction levels and the clients overall performance. The role will also require direct engagement with customers when remediation is required
Skills required:
This role is highly complex will require experience in the following areas-
- Conduct of Business for insurance and investments - 5 Years
- FSA regulations regarding Insurance and Investments - 5 Years
- Able to complete management assessments - 5 Years
- Complete monthly business reviews - 5 Years
- Monitor & Report Breaches of FSA rules and Training &Competence Scheme -5 Years
- Sanction Exceptions - 5 Years
- Sample checking audit trails/Carrying out call levelling - 5 Years
- Maintain knowledge of the external Regulatory environment - 5 Years
- FPC level 3 a minimum
