Contract Project Manager required with Sarbanes Oxley; SOX and Data Quality; Project Management; Project Planning; Stakeholder Engagement; Insurance; Solvency II; Lloyds Markets; MS Project; Prince 2; MSP; Regulatory Compliance; Project Governance and Project Delivery expertise.
Genesis Computer Resources client, a leading Lloyds Market brand, is urgently seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with the delivery of critical projects focused on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Data Quality Themes.
The Project requires the attention of an insurance industry aware Project Manager, with a demonstrable track record in the delivery of strategic and technical projects within the insurance business domain.
The Sarbanes Oxley/Data Quality Project Managers responsibilities include:
Management of all deliverable aspects of the projects within a programme environment
Establishment of project organisation
Obtaining of resource commitments and the building of the teams
Establishment of project control and reporting mechanisms
Production of Microsoft Project Plans and tracking of progress
Planning individual Project Stages
Management of project scope and project activities
Reporting project progress to the Change Management team and to the Data Quality Board
Ensuring project quality
Arbitration on conflicts and on cross-functional user requirements
Ensuring the project is communicated to end users
Further Project Management responsibilities include:
Managing risks to the successful outcome of the project
Managing communications with project stakeholders
Monitoring project performance against targets
Managing the dependencies and interfaces between projects within the work stream
To provide assistance in developing the Change Management function as follows:
Preparation of outstanding documentation and processes required for the support of the Change Management Function
Preparation of Project and Programme Board reports
Essential:
Use of Windows 2000/XP
Microsoft Project
Knowledge and experience of project management theory, tools and techniques
Knowledge and experience of successful major project completion
Experience of project management on other Solvency II projects
Experience of Microsoft Project
Knowledge of SOX
Knowledge of Solvency II
Knowledge of the Lloyd's Market and/or commercial lines insurance
Experience of project delivery in the Lloyd's market and/or commercial insurance
Knowledge and experience of change management theory, tools and techniques
