Description
Windows System Engineer - production and non-production support.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Windows environment
- Troubleshoot Servers, network devices and web applications
- Provide root cause analysis of production issues
- Install software upgrades and patches
- Deploy Middleware applications
- Support intrusion detections systems, spam filters
- Perform systems documentation including environment diagrams, installation documents, etc.
- Administer user accounts
- Maintain inventory of technical equipment
Requirements:
- Microsoft Clustering in Windows 2003 server environment
- SQL Server performance tuning
- Active Directory infrastructure
- VMWare (ESX V3)- HP Blade Center ILO management
- DNS, DHCP naming services
- TCP/IP routing and switching
- Cisco VPN, Switches, Routers, Firewalls
- Strong documentation skills
