DESCRIPTIONThe Immunology Research Associate Scientist works in the field of research autoimmunity and onocology. Will be involved in both the advancement of drug discovery and in the identification of the mechanism. Conduct screening and validation of antibodies for the treatment of systemic autoimmune disease and cancer in animal models. The laboratory has interest in a broad number of scientific areas including T cell and B cell signaling and dysregulation of immune function in autoimmune diseases and cancer.
Qualifications
- Requires a B.S. degree in the field of Immunology and/or Biology. MS or PhD degree is a plus.
- Broad experience in Flow Cytometry (FACS), immunoassays, cell based assay, molecular biology, and in vivo animal models.
- Experience in Assay Studies.
- Immunoassays (RIA/ELISA) knowledge.
- Experience with Immunohistochemical Techniques.
- Micro-Pipeting skills.
- Data Validation experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
