Our client, a global leader in the field of personal and business insurance, is seeking a security analyst for a 4-month contract in a fast paced and changing environment. Working both independently and as part of a team, the ideal applicant would be responsible for implementing the remediation of privileged access accounts in Windows, Linux and Unix environments.
This candidate will analyze results to identify privileged accounts and liaise with account owners and vendors in addition to the corporate IT, compliance and auditing departments. As such, the ability to communicate effectively with business and technology professionals of all organizational levels via phone and email is crucial.
With data managed on a MySQL proprietary database, the candidate will also require experience in writing SQL queries and basic administration. In addition, a strong technical knowledge of Windows local and Active Directory and Unix User Management mechanisms is essential.
This position requires efficiency through strong organization and analytical skills. An understanding of both business and technical operational processes and the ability to identify and escalate timely issues using appropriate channels will define the prime candidate.
