Electrical/Mechanical Manufacturing Team Members
A market leading manufacturer of personal care products, with a profile of several instantly recognisable brands, are recruiting for several Manufacturing Team Members to supplement their existing teams.
Apprentice served candidates with either an electrical or mechanical bias are invited to apply for these positions. Ideal candidates will have a manufacturing/process background within a high-speed packaging environment.
These skilled roles will involve operating and maintaining a work station and producing a product to the prescribed quality and volume. You will be responsible for attending breakdowns and making adjustments to the work station in order to ensure continuous production and maximum efficiency and output.
Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent problem solving skills. The ability to fault find on production machinery including conveyors, wrappers, carton erectors, pumps, servo motors, gear-boxes and other associated equipment is essential.
Note - candidates applying for electrical roles must have experience of fault finding and ladder logic on PLC controlled machinery.
In return, my client offers a very competitive hourly rate of £18.67 (rising to £21.61 after a probation period)
These positions will be working a continuous shift pattern of 12 hour days/nights.
These positions are long term contracts that may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
