A successful and ever prominent national retail business based in the West Midlands is seeking a qualified Head of Commercial Finance for an initial 6 month contract. This well established organisation have impressive growth plans and the ideal candidate will assist the Finance Director in all commercial finance matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing a finance team of 20 within commercial finance
* Leading regular reviews of customer and contract profitability
* Developing processes to reduce risk across the organisation
* Taking a lead on all financial aspects of business development and commercial supplier negotiations
* Supporting sales and contract teams with financial analysis and decision making
* Providing advice to senior colleagues and non-finance colleagues regarding commercial bids and tenders
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* CCAB Qualified of equivalent
* You will have prior experience of running a finance function within a large retail organisation
* Commercial approach to decision making
* Experience of supporting sales and non-finance colleagues
