DESCRIPTION

The Process Scientist/Engineer will work to scale up, execute, and optimize processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work a 12 hr shift that rotates requiring work every other weekend. 3 days on, 2 days off. 2nd shift hours are from 2 pm to 2 am for these roles.
  • Must be able to work in a highly integrated and fast-paced interdisciplinary team on scale up execution and optimization of processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires working with the manufacturing operations team-both actual execution and support of manufacturing processes.
  • Requires a sound knowledge of fundamental biological/biochemical/engineering concepts, ability to follow procedures, ability to identify issues and seek appropriate resolution, and good documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Upstream and/or cell culture experience desired.
  • Biopharmaceutical experience required.
